Toronto Letters Press
Logo Design & Visual Identity
A small, Toronto-based Publishing house was created as part of the publication of the book Cartas a mi hijo Camilo André. The publisher's focus was on letter writing, a practice that celebrates the beauty of personalization, of slowing down and writing by hand.
The logo design takes inspiration from the shape of a classic quill to connect to the idea of hand-written letters, while integrating the "T" and "L" of Toronto Letters Press.
The design was kept purposefully simplistic so that it can be used successfully at small sizes, such as on the spine of a book. The red is intended to connect to the Canadian heritage of the Toronto-based company, while the silver reflects the silver-tip of a pen.
